So I’m waiting in line at the store and it’s taking forever. So I start swapping riddles with the lady next to me. I tell her one and after ten guesses she begs me for the answer. I finally told her, “day and night” and she still didn’t get it! So then the monster behind her starts to explain it, but he’s getting metaphors all wrong and makes her even more confused. And then I said— Oh! Didi, I'm so sorry. I've just been hogging the whole conversation! Are you kidding? That's my favorite kind of conversation!
